The new city is structured around four new linear parks running North-South, creating ecological and physical connections between the hills and the river.

The motorway bridge park is one such linear park. The bridge structure has the advantage of creating shade and shelter. This potential can be taken advantage of by locating sports activities and play spaces under the bridge structure.

The character of these linear parks adapts in relation to the surrounding area, resulting in a diversity of park programmes and a mixture of extensive ecological landscapes and more intensively used areas.
